In conclusion, some very good things Smile
It's available very soon, for the 2017-2018 Back-to-school season !
This is wonderful, I think it's about time they made it possible to execute archived and asm programs hassle free, its very confusing for someone who doesn't know much about graphing calculators, which is the vast majority of the world Razz.
I'm also quite a fan of the piecewise functions, which could only be achieved by adding some statements that would render the function undefined on desired intervals. It's nice to see that there will now be a built-in/more kosher way to do it.
All in all, a step in the right direction from TI.
Has anything changed that would make current programs not work?
I had heard vague rumors about this for sufficiently long enough that I'm really glad it's going to be in the next OS version. As we've shown with all of our various shells like NoShell and Doors C[S][E] it's eminently feasible to run archived and/or ASM programs directly from the homescreen, and it's excellent that these are now built-in features that will help prevent new users from getting confused. The next thing I'd love for them to incorporate is an actual comment token (like //) instead of the performance-impacting "COMMENTS.
Wow I can't believe my eyes is this for the ti 84 plus CE too Surprised
Yes it is! Smile

wow, these are features that should have been there a long time ago, IMO. I especially like the editor features, which I use all the time in zstart.

I'm ery sad that the app SDK you joked about on IRC is just that: a joke Sad

I don't think so; after all, they're only adding things, not changing what some pieces of code do.
