ticalc.org's POTY voting is here! What are you voting for?
I'm voting for msd8x. That looks like one of the biggest breakthroughs of the year. Oh how I wish I had an 84+(se). |

I hesitate between Msd8x and RealSound, as i don't have experienced any of them. I'd say Msd8x, as it adds so much space on calcs. |

Think about it for a minute. Which port does each one use? |

I think at one time it might have. I seem to remember a usb -> 3.5mm adapter in Jim E's video on ticalc. Unfortunately I can't view the video to be sure.
From what I read, it uses the link port now. |

[post="92191"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] It's called a cheap thumbdrive mp3 player. No need for a heavy calc, better easier and probably cheaper too.
EDIT:
I won't even care to look up my ticalc password this year. I didn't test a single one of these programs, and i doubt i'll ever will. The USB program will win anyway, but i dont like it cause i cant use it (83+ user.. shoot me i use an ancient calc). Real Sound might have a good chance, but again, i cant use it because i have the old calc. And i have a cheap thumbdrive mp3 player anyway..
I'd probably would've voted for the racing game, i played a demo some years ago and it rocked.

The newest version of RealSound (currently unreleased) can play both streaming audio or streaming video AND audio off a USB drive. |

[post="92285"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Well, exactly. msd8x and Real Sound are the most technically impressive, but the survey asks what your favourite program was. Tiny CarZ it is, then! |
