I'd like a Bubble Bobble clone, maybe a port of DWEdit's.

Out of curiosity, what's the signing for?

I have a TI-89.

It's hard to answer the question "what would you like in a game" - there's many many games I'd like to see made.

If you're looking for something to make, and have a few years' worth of free time on your hands...

  1. Port Graph3 to the 89 or make some other fast 3D grapher to replace the TI-OS's slow one.
  2. Make a clone of Cave Story in greyscale for the 89.
  3. Port QWERTY to the 89.
This is probably just wishful thinking on my part, however. Some day, though, I will learn C and port Cave Story. That is one of my life long wishes.

Do memory leaks happen with the 89's Basic?

Bubble Bobble is a pretty 1337 idea. Yes, mem leaks can happen, but with the Exit command you can exit any loop/block. Applications are cool too, but what kind of app?

i have an 89-ti and i think the best thing to do would be to go through the archives and find those programs that only work on the regular 89 and make them compatible with the 89-ti.

I thought everything was compatible with 89-ti, it's just that the greyscale looks horrible because it's HW3. Buffer copying is needed to achieve greyscale as opposed to a single redirection, so greyscale looks bad on an 89-Ti, and HW2 89 calcs.

That's not true. Educate yourself, and be sure to look at the fix.

However, greyscale looks horrible using the HW2 method as well. It's just that there's more than that. In a nutshell, you need Ghostbuster to fix the Ghost Space issue. We should really put this in the FAQs, because it would save many 89-Ti users from fear of the Black Bars of Death and the text that follows.

Hey, do newer programs made with the latest version of TIGCC not work on the 89?
