TI-Freakware is currently accepting BASIC, ASM, and C tutorials to be hosted on the site. I currently have Kerm Martian's BASIC Guide, Elfprince13's No Lib guide to basic sprites and maps, and a series of my own.

I am currently workin on Kevin Ouellet's BASIC Greyscale package, but I am only about 1/4 of the way done with it.

If you have a tutorial that describes how to use libraries for basic programmers, or anything else, I would love the chance to host the files.

Let it be known though that the pages would be converted to look like the theme of the site, which in some cases, has been a slight improvement. :)

Let me know if you have one. :)

Oh, and I will accept anything for all TI Graphing calcs.

You can have my tutorial on pure-basic scrolling engines as soon as I finish writing it. Allready got both the example done, now I just need to write the tutorial itself

Sorry for double posting, I quickly wrote up/copied a 'tutorial' for a program called Resource, (File link on the bottom of tutorial page) because it sorta got lost on the Omnimaga forums, and the readme just over explains it, which can make things more confusing.

Enjoy! Smile

Good work on the tutorials, we certainly need more of these.
You don't need to worry about the double post if its more then 24 hours, nobody else is going to complain about it.

I gave a list of my requested modifications, and once they are made it will be  .

Perhaps a better title could be
"Axcho's Overview of BASIC Sprite Techniques"

I noticed one problem in this sentence:
"If your graphics are tile-based, then you will have to use the next technique."
In that quote, you linked to the plotsprites section, but I'm actually referring to a pixel technique I explain in the next few sentences. You can just delete the link.

For the title, I didn't mean for you to take my exact words! Just change it to what I suggested in the last post:
"Axcho's Overview of BASIC Sprite Techniques"
It fits in better with the titles of the other tutorials.

If anyone is interested...

I have posted a couple of my own tutorials up, and did some reorganizing of the tutorials page. Smile I think it looks better, but I would like some of your opinions...

http://tifreakware.calcgames.org/tutorials.htm

William White has also started on tutorials for the 86, in basic, and in asm, that he is allowing me to host.

And of course, I am still accepting any tutorials...

I might make an advanced string tutorial, if I have the time (and if I learn how to use strings in an advanced way) Smile

Hmm, been a while since I posted anything... oops.

Anyways, I have new tutorials to post, once I get them posted. One of them is from Saubue, of Boolsoft, who has begun a TIGCC tutorial in German, and has 5 lessons currently posted. He also plans on translating it for the site, so it will be in both languages.

Also, Seklorean (aka William White) is writing up tutorials for the 86, in BASIC and ASM.

I hope to have them posted sometime in the next week. Smile

Well, Seklorean asked to have them not posted just yet, as he wants to re-organize and rewrite some of the info.

I did get permission to post a tigcc tutorial, that was completely in German. Hopefully, an English version of that tutorial will be available in a short while.
