go to www.ticalc.org to vote for program of the year.
There are only 10 programs to vote for here, cuz this forum only allows 10 vote options. I have made it for my 9 favorites and 1 for other/no opinion.

you can vote for all featured programs of last year on ticalc.org.

what are you going to vote for as POTY?

I think he want's to know what program UTI members vote on to become POTY, but that's just a stab in the dark really.

I can't really can't say because I've only played a few of the finalists (must get 83+ ROM). I heard great things about Harvest Moon, and Desoloate was probably the most impressive calc RPG I've seen. As far as predictions go, I'm betting Acelgoyobis and Harvest Moon will take the top two spots.

Just out of curiosity, are those all 83+ games or are some for the 89 family?

Someone came here looking for a Tiny Car 89 hack once. Other than that I think it's all 83+.

this is the 83+/84+ (SE), though some games (Desolate for example) are for other (z80) calculators too.

dunno. i justed wanted to know what you think is the best program of the year. I don't really want to predict who will win, it's more like i'd like to see the difference between what 'uti' voted and what 'everyone' voted. If that's what exit-poll means, then yes.

I don't know what to vote myself, i have played Harvest Moon and i liked it, but i finished it in 1 hour Sad .
Acelgoyobis sounds great, but i haven't tried it yet.
Our World doesn't fit on my calculator. (need... SE)
I have played Desolate, and it was graphically really great, but i got stuck after playing 20 minutes.
Tiny car was nice, but boring after a while.

I haven't played the other ones, so i'll guess i'll just go testing to see what i think is the best, and then vote for it.

by the way, why was timerize a featured program??

It was featured no doubt because of endless nagging by its author. Although its an ok program ... i think he went over the top trying to promote it.

Well, I have two programs on the list, but I haven't voted for any of them. I'm curious how many votes they get, why would I ruin that?

Desolate is alright, but Acelgoyobis is such a technical achievement that in my opinion wins hands down. Very Happy

LOL! Yeah I know guys I was really upset that I missed it. I totally forgot about the POTY competition. If I had remembered it I could of easily released Contra a bit sooner. Oh well what is done is done. There is always next year for Contra... Sad

Well, the 83+/84+ POTY is closed, now's the 85/86 contest. Anyone with 85/86, what are you going to vote?
