Well...a few days ago, incase you didn't notice Greenfire closed. 
Due to some inactivity of the members, the group leader, kv83, felt it was best to close. Though we were in are infancy, we had alot of good programmers and some good projects...it is sad to see it go. I know I would go back if I could...but alas I wont get that chance. Well, to the great memories, staff, and friends...may you find whatever you search for and godspeed!

| Remember, they hosted the big Pong tournament back in April, along with Maxcoderz and ticalc. Sad to see these guys go. |

Well, it was announced everywhere. So there was at least "big" talk about it. Natually, I couldn't participate so have no idea of how it turned out. Anyway, big or small, we could use more proactive groups like those guys (or at least revive the older teams like Void). |

There was talk about another comp...on the MC forum. But now since we are gone, I have no idea what is gonna happen! There was some talk between some of the members about starting GF back up, but I have no idea!  |

| Well, it's good to see at least part of the group still active. 'Seems like there's less competition between prgramming groups now. I think this might account for the community's recent inactivity trend. |
