Texas Instruments has made another update for the (in)famous OS for the TI-83plus, called TIOS 1.18.

Does anyone know what the changes are, except "better compatibility with the TI keyboard" (they say that in every update)?

And what happened to TIOS 1.17? I never saw a release of that one...

AND ALSO: THIS IS MY 1.000th post!!!!! YEAHH!!! PARTY!!!!

Well, I'm guessing since it's .21 it's "better" than .18 ?

no, the .21 (strictly for 84+/se) and .18 (stictly for 83+/se) have nothing to do with each other.
thats like saying windows nt sp3 is better or worse than windows xp sp2 because its a "3" and not a "2". they are different operating systems, and cannot be compared by version number

1.17 was put strictly on the new ti-83+/se calculators, not released online.

Never officially released online, but I bet if you tried you could find one. Not that you need to...

I installed OS 1.18, and i haven't seen a difference... yet

Omnicalc seems to work fine, and MirageOS works OK too.

Nostub assembly is the same as always.

The weird thing is that Omnicalc was already installed right after the installation of the OS (which gives RAM CLEAR). Maybe that's a difference, but it can be because i backuped everything and sent it back.

Nothing new...
