If you're a Cemetech regular, you might have noticed from the Doors CS 7: Three App Pages? or the DCS7 Logo Thread, SAX, or the Cemetech IRC channel, #cemetech on irc.efnet.net, Doors CS 7 development is once again underway after a hiatus of well over a year. Last summer I did some halfhearted development on both Doors CS 7 and M Game, and unreleased platformer based loosely on some of the concepts of the popular N Game, but certainly missed my personal August 31st deadline for Doors CS 7's release by a long shot. This past Wednesday I managed to work through a fatal bug that my development code had had since I last laid it aside in 2008, so the development cycle begins. At this point, I'm going to be working on primarily organizing my existing code into more discrete modules for the purpose of the RunProg project to allow nested program calls, USB-stored program execution, and more complete MirageOS compatibility. Please visit the two threads linked above in this article to give your opinions, criticisms, and feature requests, and please feel free to start your own topics in the Doors CS subforum. Check out two proposed screenshots, the rightmost of a "pin to taskbar" feature I am considering, and keeping your eye on Cemetech for more Doors CS news and updates!
