Xubuntu to Vista file transfering

So, i need to transfer files from my Xubuntu to my mothers laptop running Windows Vista.

My computer is connected to our router via cable, and the laptop uses WLAN.

How do i move the files as fast as possible ? There are many small files and a few bigger ones (coughpiratedmusicandmoviescough). I have no idea what to do, since ive never used Vista and i'm still a total n00b at using Xubuntu
thumb drive? Portal hard drive?

Xubuntu can handle FAT32 and NTFS drives just fine (what Vista can recognize)
