calc.org is back. For a while I was disappointed that the archive I donated to UTI and CalcG wasn't being put online, but I never did anything about it. This February I ran into some old backups of calc.org files and decided to continue from there. With some help from Barrett from CalcG, I got a program archive of about 2700 to 2800 programs online. I've been slowly cleaning it up since then.
The other new development is the forum. All of the previous users at calc.org (up to January 2006 at least) were imported in, as was old news items and the comments on the polls. Poll votes may or may not be imported depending on how hard they'll be to import. If you had an account here from 2002 until the website went offline, you should have a working account at calc.org now. Try password recovery if you don't remember the password.
I invite everyone to check us out and help out at the forum. I don't need any developers really, but if you want to help let me know. Right now what I need the most are people to stick around at the forum and give me some feedback on what I'm working on.
If anyone knows any other boards/news websites I could post at, let me know here. I've been removed from the TI community for too long and in honesty I don't know what's going on. The only thing I've done to advertise so far has been posting at UTI, replying to a post at Omnimaga (now defunct?), emailing calcg.org, and sending an email to ticalc.org (which never was replied to).
