I have been on and off working on a complete Content Management System with whatever I feel fit I would want. Right now, I am working on the forum portion of the project, and I think it is coming along quite nicely.

Current Progress
Infinite Subforums
Posting/Replying/Editing
Simple Permissions system
User Sessions

Planned
PM System
BBCode
Quoting
--lots more

If you are willing to help, or to test the site out, please fell free.

Btw, the site can be found at http://rivereye.tifreakware.net

Btw, realize that much of it in non-functional, so if you get a 404, just ignore it for now.
yay!!!
Yay!!!!

Wait whats goin on? Confused

jk

so I like it...nice logo...great stuff. Your working on functionality right now and on design later right?

btw. What did u use to make the logo? What kinda help you lookin for?

http://rivereye.tifreakware.net/images/logo.png (could show image...but that would suck unnecessary bandwidth and take up space on here.)
basically, people who know the kind of stuff it takes and are willing to either submit PHP code, or to submit a way for myself to code it. The latter is preffered.

Also, I did not create the logo, a friend did for me.
Lookin' good! I'd be happy to share my archives system for the Files section...
thanks Kerm. What I really need is some code for a BBCode parser right now.
Seriously? That should be some uber-simple regex...
and for some reason, my mind can't seem to wrap on how to do it really.
Give me the tags that you want and I'll drop some regex on you.
if you give me a start, I can figure it out from there (I hope). Just do like quote, and some other ones (I can add ones later as I see fit).
Ok, been a while since I posted updates on this for a while, but here they are.

BBCode is up and working (thanks swivelgames for that).
Private Messaging System is about 50% done
Permissions System
Session Management

go ahead and check it out, http://rivereye.tifreakware.net
been doing some thinking, and need some thoughts on something I thought up. With the excessive growth of bot posts, I was thinking of having a different way of dealing with bots. One, I can have a completely hidden area for bots posts that only admins can see. Then in the ACP, there can be an option to delete a bulk of posts from a user (makes deleting from multiple topics in different forums easier). Thought, comments, other ideas?

btw, 5k posts.
nice job rivereye, i hope to see it when you are done, and i will help with testing
Rivereye, just noticed that bot-handling idea. Sounds perfect to me. Although with a bit of SQL knowledge, you can do it with phpBB:

DELETE FROM forum_posts WHERE user_id='2'; DELETE FROM forum_posts_text WHERE user_id='2';

would delete all of my posts.
Kerm, I know that, but adding an option to the ACP to do it (so this way, if I hire another admin, or when I release it, people can use it), not just SQL.

Glenn, you can always look at the progress on http://rivereye.tifreakware.net
Looking sweet! Any progress on the files system that you didn't put live yet?
at the moment, if it is written, it is live.
i noticed that riv, thanks
