I got all of my calc homework except for the last problem. I'm supposed to find dy/dx by implicit differentiation and evaluate the derivative at the indicated point. I did the problem, but came out with no X variable in it. This is the original problem. My (incorrect) work is under it.

The correct answer is (18x)/(x^2 +9)^2 y, undefined. Do any of you see where I'm going wrong?
You forgot to use the quotient rule.
Oh, doi! Thanks, Chipmaster. Smile
No problem. Very Happy
