My car is a front wheel drive. It still drifts nice, but still...

Well, I don't drive, so I don't have any stories about that, but you guys think 7 is early? My bus comes at 6:00 and school starts at 7:25 (luckily, my mom is a teacher, so she drives me).

Our school system really, really, really needs to get better buses and bus routes; when the buses drive, you can't see out the back window from all of the diseal exhaust and some people who live right beside each other don't even ride the same bus

I would NOT want to walk to my school, even if I could (takes about 15-20 min by car). It is in the middle of a ghetto and is near a known drug corner Besides, we have weekly fights (the most recent ones were the 3 on Friday, or which, I saw 2), and last year, 12 people were arrested 1st quarter for drugs. We get new students every day (less than 1/2 are legal) to replace all that get kicked out. If you're wondering why I go to this school, it is because it is the same school that has the highly accedemically (sp) gifted program, to make the school look at least part way proficient. Example: last year, 56% of the students passed the EOGs (get about 40% of the questions right on about the most trivial exam in 3 hours), and 100% of my team passed (two teams are roughly equal in size)!

Keep in mind that I am still in 8th grade...

ouch, that sucks. For my school, it is in the country here, so speed limits are 55mph, with no shoulder on the road, so anyone who walks or rides a bike is in danger it seems.
