eweek just did a chort writeup on suse 10, where they praised it. So if you are looking for a new distro (or a first time distro) this looks to be a good alternative to Ubuntu

I tried Suse 9, and hated it, wouldn't dual boot. My exchange student did 10 and had to jump through hoops on his laptop. Just what I have seen though.
I dn't like Suse. Yast is slow as hell.
