I recently saw an article about ipod multi booting on digg and decided to try it out. I am very happy with the results. I am now able to triple boot my iPod; I have iPod Linux, Rockbox, and the Apple OS installed. (It's a quadruple or quintiple boot if you count Disk Mode and Diagnostic Mode as OS's.) Choosing an OS is very convenient. When you reboot your iPod (a trick I only discovered recently), you are given a scrollable menu of OS's from which to choose. What's great about it is that you don't have to reboot every time you turn your iPod on because the iPod doesn't restart when it shuts off.
cool, I once did rockbox on my 4th Gen. Is Linux now supported on them?
Which bootloader is it? That sounds quite awesome.
The link explains everything.

Update: I figured out how to actually listen to stuff on Rockbox. Razz It's pretty cool and much different from the iPod; You can change the interface to pretty much anything and there are voice menus!
Rockbox is very awesome. They recently got it on my mp3 player (a little after they got it on the iPod) and I have been enjoying it ever since. Hopefully the'll get FM/recording working on it as well as a decent battery life so that I can use it full time ('cept for movies).
