C or B?
It's a B.
81 is a B? What kind of grading scale do you have over there?

Ummm...the standard one?
100=A+
99-90=A
89-80=B
79-70=C
69-60=D
59-9=F
Perhaps he was referring to the fact that that would be a B- in many areas. I've never heard of a 81 being called a C. Confused

Edit: Kerm what happens if you're grade is less than a 9 in your scale? Laughing Is that G level material?
Dang, for me its always been:
100-93 A
92-85 B
84-77 C
76-70 D
69- F
Ouch Surprised Where do you go to school?
North Carolina

does this mean that the 85 in my system is the same quality work as an 80 in yours? If it doesn't, I'm pissed
I don't know if it would be the same quality. It is North Carolina we are talking about. Just Joking
I have a friend who moved here (MA) from North Carolina. He said school is much harder here.
depends on what program you participate in (also school system).
In elementary school we used A-F, but high school went on this scale:

HH: High Honors: Like an A+
H: Honors: Like an A
M: Merit: Like a B
S: Sat/Satisfactory: Like a C
U: Unsat/Unsatisfactory: Like a D
F: duh.
