I think the archiver just glances at the programs and uploads them without a thought. only about a fifth of the programs that come up each day are useful, and even fewer are of good quality.

Maybe we should all use the "Contact Us' link at the bottom of each page on ticalc, so over a day or so everyone complains about the lousy programs being added. Cemetech has over 100 members, so if even a quarter of them complained to ticalc they'll have to notice.
We'll make them care. It's damaging to ticalc's reputation if they have to add low-quality programs so it can look like the site is active or whatever.
That is why I am makin a better archives. I only put up games that are decent enough to be called a game, no guess the number crap, I put the best nibbles/snake type game up for each section, etc. It isn't like the files aren't being downloaded:

they aren't as well written as the others and they are also the books that get so many people to classify Star Wars EU as crap literature............
I haven't heard of Dark Nest though.
