I've been doing a math program collection of mine and several of my also-calculator-addicted friends math programs. I have a working program right now, but it only has 8 functions, and I'm low on ideas. Anyone have any math questions that are slow-to do by hand but could be sped up by programs?
You could create a Program that graphs a complex number. Also, I made one that Can tell you the various angles and sides of a triangle with the Law of Sines and Law of Cosines. It does SSS, a, SAS, ASA, and SSS Area. That's all I can really think of at my current level of math (Pre-Cal).
Sorry for being late to the party, I've been away for the past week.
There are tons of cool mathy things you can do, some of which, are incredibly long to do by hand. Here are a few ideas:

- Primality checking
Random functions (Riemann-Zeta, Beta, Dirichlet-Eta, Euler-totient are some examples of relatively easy to implement functions)
More trig (things like cosecant, secant, cotangent, all of their inverses, hyperbolic analogs, etc.)
Arbitrary Base Conversions
