Just recently got this calculator.. and I can't seem to get the Periodic Table to install. I am using this link

http://www.ticalc.org/pub/84pluscse/basic/science/

for the Period Table Source, but when I click on Program on the calculator and click on 'Periodic' it shows me
'prgrmPERIODIC' sometimes flashing a few times too, and nothing else. Help please?

I haven't installed anything else on this calculator, so I am sure I have all the space needed for it. I am not sure what is going on, maybe the device is faulty so I was considering in also returning it and get the TI 84 with the Table already pre-loaded because this is giving me a headache.

I am using the Ti Connect for Mac OS X by the way, not sure if that has to do wihth anything.
Did you install both programs? When you go to run the program, you have to press Enter again when it pastes up prgmPERIODIC to actually run the programs.

I just threw it at my calculator and it seemed to run just fine.
As tifreak8x says, you need both programs on your calculator, and you need to press [ENTER] twice to actually run it. From your description, your calculator is definitely not faulty; sounds like user error. Wink If you want an easier way to run programs, I'll put in a plug for Doors CSE 8.0, a new version of which should be coming out today.
