I want to make a time management game for the 84, but there are a few things I'm not sure how to do.

1)accessing the clock from assembly
2)creating appvars

There may be more, but if you all could help me understand I will be grateful.
axe or asm ???

"appvXY"-->str1
lenght(str1)-->a
getcalc(str1,A)

1) If you want to access the TI-84 Plus family's clock, you need to use a series of four ports, ports $45 through $48. WikiTI helpfully documents them:
http://wikiti.brandonw.net/index.php?title=83Plus:Ports:45
2) You can create appvars with the _CreateAppvar bcall, documented in TI's System Routines PDF. I strongly recommend that the z80 manual, the TI System Routines PDF, and the TI-83 Plus SDK PDF be in your permanent ASM documentation collection.
i cant find the two PDFs, mind throwing me a link?
Both are located in this download directly from TI.
