right, if you don't renew, it goes away, open for any one in the world to buy. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do when it expires. If I decide to keep the site, I think I will buy a .com a month or two before it expires, then tell any visitors that it is changing. But I don't need to worry untill august.

i'd say go for it, i went for $6 d, but there are places out there for $5 a year, thats less then a sandwich now-a-days

http://www.netfirms.com/domain-names , but im not sure that it will last forever, there are other ones out there, just search hard enough and you can find one
