So it does; the site also deliberately opts into the broken IE 7 renderer - check the source and you'll see this:

If you bring up the developer tools (hit F12) and select IE 8 Standards from the Document Mode dropdown you'll see all is well.

I definitely put that in for a reason, though, there was something else I was trying to fix with that...
This should be fixed for everyone now, Fx and IE8 alike. Let me know if it makes IE7 or 6 too disgusting, though, if anyone still uses either of those travesties.
It doesn't work in Opera.
Then again, Opera doesn't seem to currently support any way to force long words to wrap, so I guess we'll wait until they get around to implementing word-wrap: break-word or similar.
