I thought this was a great episode, Donna is doing a great job as the Doctor's companion so far. rather reminiscent of Jackie Tyler imho. anyway, did anyone else think the pyrovile looked vaguely like megatron?

I did indeed see the resemblance. I thought this was an excellently-directed episode, and the storyline was superb. There were a few inconsistencies with history that I and a friend who also took Roman history and Latin noticed, but overall it was relatively true to historic events. I heard rumors that if you looked closely you could see [spoiler]Rose[/spoiler] in the volcano, but I did not see this.
