Jules Verne pwns Bradbury. 
Crichton and Scott Card are very good too.
My favorites are really the real life situation books by Russian authors. Tolstoy and what I have read of Fyodor Dostoyevsky are the best writing I've seen anywhere.

Jules Verne is more real Science fiction, where Bradbury combines elements of Dystopia, Socialism, and Isolationism into his science fiction. That's why I like him. In many ways, he actually against technology. Here's a fun fact. He's never flown in an airplane, and he's only driven a car a couple of times.
Yeah I actually knew that. Bradbury even claims that Fahrenheit 451 is his only science fiction work. I thnk that Verne embodies the best of the old science fiction writing, the 19th century stuff, and Crichton of the newer stuff.

I never liked Clark all that much. A lot of his fame comes from 2001: A Space Odyssey and the movie really made the book look bad. Plus the rather weak attempts at sequals. He's Orson Scott Card minus all of the successful sequals.

All of the above except Fantasy. I like Bova, Philip K. a, Card, and some of Clark's stuff. Oh, and Adams (duh).
