In the prizm setup guide it says to access the usr/src/ file and to create it if it isnt there, however I do not have permission to create files even though I am admin due to mac restrictions on editing the usr folder. So my question is,does the gcc and binutils need to be compiled in that exact folder or could I do it somewhere else where I have permission. Thank you...
You can put the files anywhere, it's just that /usr/src is a conventional (though old-fashioned) location to put assorted source code. Personally I'd use something in my home directory.
Thank you soo much for the quick reply Smile
It seems like it works in a different folder, can't thank you enough Smile
