I'm trying to create a universal .bat file to run gcnclient.exe. What this will do is search your C:/ drive for the client file, then return the path to it. Then, it will navigate to that directory. After doing so, it will prompt you for your username, then run the client.

The internet isnt much help to me, as I have no experience with making batch files.
If you have no idea how to make batch files, then this probably isn't a good idea to start with. Also, will it allow what hub? I would break this apart into individual pieces. I also wouldn't have it search for gcnclient.exe, and instead have it somewhere (with the batch file in the same directory) on the hard drive. Then create a shortcut to the batch file.

I would also look up how to get text input from a batch file.
I think better would be to use the GUI Merth will eventually write. Also, if you put the batch file in the same directory as the gcnclient, there's no need to make it search.
ok. sounds like a plan.
