Yesterday I was typing something while writing yet another report and I accidentally pressed the insert key, which was right next to 'delete'. I think there should be a rave about this monstrocity -- I lost a full 2 sentences over NOTHING BUT THE STUPIDITY OF THE KEYBOARD MAKERS. Why can't they put it at the top right of the keyboard, so that we constantly don't have to check if it is on or not?

I hate keyboards...

Ever hear of 'undo'?
Not to mention that overwrite is sometimes useful Wink
At any rate, what do you mean by putting it at the top right?

My insert key is right below Print Screen/SysReq and right above Delete. Right where any Insert key on any useful keyboard ought to go. Unless you are on something like a laptop. In which I don't think I have seen a dedicated Insert key, unless it is a desktop replacement. In THAT case it's silly.
