Yes, sounds about right... you'd think more than a decade after we'd have more powerful handhelds from TI by this time... :)

Oh, yes, today's comic. Has Randall ever poked fun at TI before, is this the first time?
At any rate, this was highly amusing. Very Happy (Though I still had to go to the main page to view the alt-text)

I guess they'll run with the $110 price tag as long as they can. Razz

I just noticed that this was comic #768. (Which is, of course, as any 83+ assembly programmer will recognize, the number of bytes required to store a 96x64 bitmap.) Coincidence? Razz

I myself had noted that earlier, though on Omnimaga. It is an interesting coincidence, though Smile

Am I the only person who has noticed that 24 K of RAM is the correct number for some Z80s models, but not any 68K models, and that no Z80 model has had a 10 MHz CPU clock speed?

I've noticed, though I made these justifications: He was referring to the TI-83(+) Series, and 10 is a nice number between 6 and 15.

So true. :)

I'm actually glad this is the case, because I was afraid that the TI-83 Plus would be obsolete by the time I got around to making and finishing all those calculator games I thought of several years ago. But now it looks like I can wait as long as I want and there will still be people stuck in math class with a TI-8x series calculator, just waiting for awesome new games to come out. ;)

Heh.
