OK. I give up. I decided it is impossible to have a working Macintosh assembler. After searching the entire web I came back only having found one assembler (the one in the link above), in German, that didnt work, and was even mentioned on other sites who claimed it didnt work. Throughout my search I even stumbled upon my own posts on this site. I have decided to get out my old PC, a laptop Fujitsu that works so horribly it freezes when it boots up about 3/4 of the time. Oh and it doesnt shut down, this must be done manually by holding down the power button. If only I could afford Virtual PC. So, I am triumphantly (well, sorta) welcoming myself into the ASM programmer community!!!

See if you can get an old 486 or maybe even 386 pc (should cost you about US$10, tops), install windows98 and set it up to compile assembly programs.

eBay would be a good place to start looking. They seem to have almost everything there...

Um... there where no dragons in the middle ages. Or any other period in history.

And I was more thinking that the conenction was that darth still used an old pc not too long ago.

yeah, but most people have never read/heard a story that involves dragons at any time other than the middle ages(when the story is set, not when they listened to the story)

The Hobbit (by Tolkien) isn't set in the middle ages. There's a dragon in that story.

So anyway, back to the reason I started this topic...

I got my old computer up and running. I deleted a whole bunch of games I never play anymore and defragmented it. I think it helped a little bit because everything works more smoothly now. I still have to set it up to assemble games, though. After that, I'll only use it for assembly (and playing chip's challenge, which has never been made for Mac Sad ). I'm not completely sure what I need to do to set it up, but I've read the first day of 28 Days, and I've got the idea of what to do. That is the best tutorial, right?

The Tyranosaurus Rex lived over 65 million years ago, the middle ages started 1500 years ago.
