Hi all,

I am currently on the search for the sources of ImageStudio by C Saul, as published on TICalc.org. ImageStudio is released under GPL, and so the source code should be made easily available. The problem is it isn't. The binary distribution contains no information as to the sources' location, web searching provides no help, and the email adresses provided are invalid. So, does anyone know where I could find the sources OR hwo I could contact the author?

(As to why I need the sources: I would like to make my own *Nix based program similar to imagestudio, since using Wine is a real pain, and I would also like a CLI method for converting bitmaps. TSC unfortunately only works for sprite sized pictures, ImageStudio can handle all sizes though.)

Many Thanks

Sorry, but I don't think I can help.
The best I can do is give you this:
Cullen Sauls (sauls@tamu.edu)

Is that the email you tried?

Oh, and Welcome to United Ti!

I already tried that email, and it was invalid... However I have found another C Sauls email address, at Microsoft, which could be correct. (The ImageStudio changelog mentions a move to Redmond, so this is promising). Thanks anyway

Edit:// I figured out the structure of the bitmaps just there, so I don't really need the sources anymore... The image simplification algorithm could still be useful, but it's not essential.

Edit2:// Program finished. It has no gui, but it can convert bitmaps directly into the TIGCC bitmap structure. Saves me having to post-process output from ImageStudio. I will make a GUI for it as well, and will publish it sometime in the future.
