when ever i try to send something to the computer from my calculator via my link cabe it give me an error in xmit message why does it do that and how can i send things

When you receive/send things to a computer, the calculator should stay untouched on the Homescreen and from the computer you make the orders...

If you are using TI-Connect get to the Device explorer and drag and drop to some folder on your pc.
If it is Tilp then you can still use the drag and drop.
