Well, I had thought my computer was working, and everything was running smoothly. Apparently, I was wrong...
The Scenario:
I find a program I want, I download the installation file, I install it. Then I run the program. Works nice, runs fine, etc. I'm happy. Then I close the program, for whatever reason. Maybe I need to restart my computer because of Windows updates, maybe I'm done with the program, maybe it's taking up too much RAM that I need to play Half-Life. I dunno... Anyway, I close the program. Later, I decide I want to use it again. I go over, click on the icon, and wait. Three seconds later, I have an error message on my screen: "<program name> has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem... etc, etc, etc". I close the program and try again. Same thing. I restart my computer, and open the program. Same thing.
The Questions:
- Why does this happen? Why does the program work once, then never again?
- I've tried Googling the problem, and got no relevant results. Am I the only one having this issue?
- Is it a hardware or software issue?
- I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate. This happened in the RC too. Is something wrong with Windows?
Soo... yeah. Still don't have a working computer. I'm getting really tired of this.
Oh, and some pictures. These aren't the only programs I have that don't work, but they're a few examples.

Normally, this problem wouldn't bother me a whole lot, but all of these programs, excluding #4, are programs that I use (or would like to use) quite frequently.
