I'm trying to teach myself z80 assembly, and I'm starting to grasp the concepts. But I'm having difficulty putting what I've learned into practice. What I'm asking is that the people who are versed in z80 list some practice programs I should attempt.

Keep in mind I'm using the 28 days tutorial

I just need a way to practice. Like homework assignments or something.

Text effects are pretty good. Flying letters, typewriter effect, menus and such. That's the stuff I did first.

That game Slimeball was pretty neat-looking. Is there already a 83+ version of it?

[edit]
I see now there is. Maybe you can make it even weirder!
