I just wanted to get some discussion going, and was kinda curious to see how people respond to this topic.

Art is one of the greatest forms of self-expression we humans have. It can express what we cannot express in words. I was just wondering: How do you express yourself? In poetry? Painting? I consider even computer programming a sense of self expression sometimes. The compromises and balance that one has to make shows what that person values (or what the platform demands, as in the case of calcs).

I express myself through violin, singing, and semi-faltering attempts at musical composition.

I try to do in as many ways as I can.

Write, play guitar, draw or design something in computer.
But where I really try to impress is imaginating things in my mind... I never get it to paper so, kind I do not express it... But I will try hard someday. It is not easy for me, because I am lazzy to start large projects.

I play bass in a hardcore/ska band and write a lot of the lyrics/music for it. Lately I've been setting up a drum machine, a keyboard with a loop pedal, a bass and writing hip hop music. While my lyrics and stuff are good I really can't rap, so it's not working out as well as I'd like. It's still a ton of fun.
