Okay,

I tried about everything to install my TI 89 to my Laptop with XP Home(Samsung NC10). I finally called TI tech support and the technician told me, TI Connect is not compatible with Windows XP Service Pack 3. She said TI hasn't release an update.

BUT if you have a MAC, TI connect will work! Tried it at school.
