Checking information on win xp. The download from ticalc stopped transmitting to the calculator using the win black link cable. I have been checking for information on it because it worked, then stopped. The program is not compatiable with win xp, somehow the serial port is able to turn off and on (found some information on the internet) but I do not know how to accomplish this. It appears that the computer turned off the serial port. Now how to turn on ???
Does anyone know how to do this ??
Thank You

Often times there si a setting in the CMOS/BIOS setup. Usualy you can get in pressing DEL, F2, F10, or ESC. Just read the messages on the screen and look around.

Why bother disabling the serial port anyway?
