Ok, thought I would post, 50 programs were still there, 11 missing. 1 has already been redone, 2 were asm, the others are so easy to recreate that it is laughable.
So, almost back on track. |

How did 11 go missing? Did your calculator somehow have a half ram clear and lose 11 programs but keep 50? |

no, the 50 were safely tucked away in ROM, while the others were in RAM.
It just surprises me tho, because I had to reload the OS I figured that it would have erased everything. I am still not sure why it didn't but I am glad none the less. |

*shrugs*
I have one more program to dig up, should be on my laptop somewhere.. Though it could be on my flash drive.. once that is done, and I reload the lists and pics, then I will do a backup of THAT setup, and life will be good.
Next phase is to move the data programs over to appvars. |

Change 1 byte in the 8xp file. You can automate that. |

Why would he need to change only one byte in the 8xp file? |

hey there, ive been lurking this thread for a couple years, and i think now would be a good time (im deployed and bored) to jump in and ask if there are any areas you would like help with. i understand that the nature of RPGs such as this includes alot of side work, work that i am willing to complete. |

Don't know what I would need to change, so it is irrelevant. As to screenshots, I will post new screenshots as I get new aspects of the game working.
Got the program that held the sprite data and the pokemon names dumped off into appvars, and made the changes to the pokedex code to reflect it. Works fairly well if I do say so myself.
Now to do the attack names and item list and get them as appvars.. |

heh, thank you much!
Once I get back from my vacation down here in Georgia, I plan on putting myself to the task of getting some real work done on pokemon, I hope. >< |

Yeah what the guy above me said... I am very excited about this program and it seems very good. When this is completed it'll be up there with phoenix and mario 2.0 and stuff.... YEAH! |

eh, recreating pokemon is slow work. there are three people on it, and no-one's really finished anything yet.
just give it some time. there are OTHER Pokemon projects, you know. such as mine and AMkiller's.
if you want something new to look at, here are some shameless plugs for my project:
http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/authors/104/10416.html <--- my submitted files, a pokedex and an early rendition of the battle simulator.
http://www.unitedti.org/index.php?showtopi...mp;#entry136137 <--- the current sprite topic, with my custom sprites
a mock screenshot showing what the new game might look like. |

eh, sorry for the lack of updates lately. Life has been dragging me all over the place. ><;
anyways, I have been working on a program that will work with Celtic 2 to conveniently convert programs to appvars and back. I had created one version that had no error checking, and I was having troubles getting a data program to convert, and became frustrated and stopped for a while, because like I said, other things took my attention.
I am still working on it, so don't worry. ^^ Hoping to get this program done sometime later this evening, if I get left alone. |
