This is a poll of sorts.

I recently found a little utility program I wrote at a friend's request sometime last April. It's actually a neat toy, but it could be improved (considering I put it together in maybe half an hour), so I'm curious whether to upload it somewhere as is, to continue working on it, or to forget about it entirely. So I ask you two questions:

What's the approximate time it takes for an up-to-date Basic utility such as xLib to display a sprite?

What kind of speed would you expect from a Basic utility that displays a sprite before you'd consider using it?

(and 1/100 to update the screen... dang lcd)

1. Pretty fast, but not instant.
2. If it can fill the screen as quickly as filling the homescreen with text in BASIC,(IE a program reading from a map) that would be acceptable.
If it's a small program and it generates fast I'm sure people would be intrested in it. Why don't you post a couple of screen shots?
