Did you ever get it? It is super easy with nLite. The hardest part is finding the proper SATA/RAID drivers to integrate. Other than that, it is smooth sailing and WILL detect the drive once you do that and install Windows XP. More likley than not being an nForce chipset means you can probably get all the necessary drivers to use XP just fine

Just for your information - the hard drive manufactures have their own diagnostic disk (for free) that you can download. And they have support information (free) and FAQ's that can help on many difficult problems. Next time you may want to check with them. But meantime, download the free diagnostic disks for future needs.
hope this helps

OK, new problem. I Just got a new 750 GB SATAII hard drive from newegg. Since my motherboard doesn't support SATA, I bought a controller card ( NON RAID) so that i could use it. So, i put the card in and connected the new HDD in as well. All looked good in the hood, Until i opened up My Computer, and the HD wasnt their! It shows up device manager and everest senses the temperature of it, but I cannot use it at all. Right now it's pretty much just taking up space and heating my case... I don't know what to do, as i did follow the instructions erectly, and IT STILL DON'T WORK! Any help would be appreciated, and i fu need me to clarify anything let me know. I'm kinda typing this in anger as i resist the urge to throw my computer out the window.
Oh, i also already have 2 cd drives and 2 IDE HDD's already in the comp. I don't know of that matters or not.

Maybe you have to do something special to get the drive to mount through a controller. My computer won't even show my ext3 drive.

Hard drives from newegg do not come formatted and windows will not see it. It needs to be formatted first. Obvious but can go overlooked.

That is actually the smartest question right now. I'd have to get back to you on that one. Usually it involves using a Windows disk or maybe a dos boot disk, but because you are going through the sata card and not the actual motherboard it gets more tricky.

Can you provide a model or link to the card you bought so people know which one it is.

EDIT: Scratch previous idea. If the drive is seen in the device manager go to computer Management->Storage->Disk Management and format the drive
