i recently bought a ti 89 titanium and i installed ti connect. the program works fine but i cant get my pc to locate the new hardware of the calculator. when it searches through ti connect it only looks in com ports not usb. How can i make the computer locate the calculator???

Did you install TI Connect before connecting your calculator?

If not, uninstall and install TI Connect again.

yes i tried that but my computer still wont locate the calculator. i get the add new hardware screen for windows vista but it has problems finding the hardware. ive tried install from disk and without the disk but i just cant find the calculator. any other suggestions??

i seem to have installed tilp correctly but i can figure out how to add apps to my calc through it any suggestions?
