As stated, I can't download anything to my ti84+. All I want is that free puzzle package with boxdude on it. So here's what happens (exactly): I downloaded Ti connect and then I connected my calculator with its included usb cord. its turned on and its on the fist screen (blank with the blinking cursor). I went to the ti official site and found the app i wanted. i dragged it to the ti connect desktop icon. a window popped up and found my ti84. i clicked select and then it said incompatable file so i couldn't download it. i tried 4 other apps from the official site and 2 from some where else and it still wont work. What am i doing wrong? someone please help! thanks for reading that whole thing.

This error sounds strangely familiar, but I can't remember from where. This may sound like a stupid question, but just to clarify, does it say TI-84+ when it searches for devices, or TI-83 (not plus)? I do know that linking programs (TI-Connect and TILP) have displayed the wrong device if the connection is interrupted, which can happen VERY easily when using the black USB cable.

Press "Print Screen" (on your keyboard {of the computer}) and paste it into a word document (or something). Then we can see what you see.

Use Paint instead of Word so everyone can see it.

Well, it would say incompatible if he was dragging the ZIP file to the icon.

Did you unzip the file?

When you download from TI, that app is not zipped.
