Hi everyone haven't been here for a while.

I want to make a Asm 3D Engine for the calculator.
Even basic Wolfenstein 3d Style will work.

Anyone have any tutorials or tips

Thanks.

the best advice i can give is probably read a tutorial on raycasting and try to write the algorithm in z80.

best of luck!

oh, and if and when maxcoderz is back up, go there and look for the 3d engine project. the guy's working on a voxel like 3d engine that looks pretty promising. he'll probably be able to give you a lot of advice.

There are a few z80 engines about ranging from simple wireframe engines to raycasters to full blown polygon based ones.

There are a couple up on ticalc.org and when we can get a hold of kv we'll have maxcoderz back up. Qarnos's engine is very impressive.
