Will there ever be something for the 89 Titanium that does what USB8x does for the TI-84+SE (or more)? Would it be easier to make?

It will come. chronomex (Duncan Smith) was working on it.

The hardware is quite similar, we just need someone familiar with 68k and the hardware to take the time and do it.

I'm willing to offer any help with understanding the USB controller and USB oddities in general if someone (else?) picks it up and needs it.

ask Kevin Kofler? I think he's already modified the TIGCC lib to support USB, but to what extent, I'm not sure.
