if this thread is against forum rules - PLEASE DELETE IT - i dont want us getting into trouble!


anyway, would it be possible to reflash the ti89 firmware onto the ti84+SE. I wanna do it coz the ti89 is way more expensive and i want CAS.

what problems/downfalls - has this been done before?

the 89 and the 84+ has different processors, so its not possible.


although someone did put a 89 inside the plasic incasing of a 84+

You could also download apps such as Symbolic to the TI-84+, that will give it some semblance of a CAS.

i have symbolic but wading through its commands is very confusing and i often get syntax errors when trying them - the guide on his site is not great either
