Ive edited a 8xu file and uploaded it to the calc.But after the restart of the calc i get the "Waiting....."-Screen. I searched for solutions but only found this:(http://www.brandonw.net/calcstuff/84PlusBoot.txt)
But i dont understand it:is there somewhere in the internet a howto(-video) ?
Or is there any other way to validate a modified ti-84+ os ?

There's a reason why there's no simple how-to...it's illegal and you're not supposed to.
I'm of the philosophy that if you can't figure out how to do it, you shouldn't be doing it. I know that's a prickish attitude to take, but sometimes I just get in that mood.
Although, if you look hard enough, you'll find some ways.
EDIT: there is, of course, no way to validate the OS. I was just talking about getting it on there.

it is possible using tools that BrandonW has written.
I'm not sure how to use these, but I know they can do it:

look into those.
edit: I feel I should put a warning here, using these tools improperly(such as writing to the certificate page) can kill your calculator.

| I'm guessing if you cause the calculator to not finish its validating, it wouldn't know it's modified. |

| No, you probably wouldn't want to use that app to unlock(I think you want to unlock) a program. That is a library for ASM coders (wierd) and you probably should forget about it for now. this may help. |
