I'm trying to upload a program from my calculator onto my computer with TI-Connect. The computer keeps giving me the following error:

Access is denied.
(80070005)

I can't figure out what's wrong. I've tried uninstalling things like omnicalc and stuff... but it still doesn't work. Any thoughts...?

no i don't have admin privileges, but I've done it before without them... I don't see why that would be an issue though.

My OS is version 2.40 (This is a TI-84+ SE, btw).
And if you meant computer OS, that would be Windows XP

I also had this problem with my old calculator.

Downloading programs is fine; just uploading them is failing.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but as I've been trying to upload, my calculator would randomly run out RAM, from 23390 bytes to 0 bytes, and I have to clear my RAM to get it back. This happened twice.

Restart your computer and try again. Turn your calc off and unplug and replug it. Repeat till it runs.

Reset your RAM? Seems like something is wrong there... Ir shouldn't go to 0 like that...

84+SE is pretty new, and the max age is 3 years. Not old for a calculator.

If you are willing, backup your stuff on another calc, reset all mem, and try again.

Hey pugboy, I get this all the time, and this isn't new. In fact, it has happened on this forum before. It just happened to me recently and the rebooting of the computer did the trick.
