I have a TI-83+, Ti connect software, and a cable that connects the calc to the computer (its silvery with a gray-translucent area in the middle containing a microchip). I got Ion from "http://joewing.net/programs/calc/ti83/ion/index.shtml" but it did not contain the program "IONZ" and would not install. I then tried
"http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/107/10743.html"
These did install program "A" but when I accessed it in both "DoorsCS" and the programs menu, all it did was display a "done" in the main screen. Thinking the inner files were corrupted, I opened "A" in device explorer. It said "Asm(prgm?ION","ClrHome". I have 90697 arc and 21204 ram. What am I, or my calc, doing wrong??

Edit: I used "Marsptrl","ALECTO","AlienBreed","Galaxan","lode", and "meltman" as tests. None worked.

Ive noticed very few games work.

Edit: I know some Ion games work for Doors, but most do not. Thanks for the tips, I'll look for different games on that are for Ion and see if they work.

Edit: I have about a 1/10 success rate in games at most. Is that normal???

Are you using any other funky programs or apps? I know CalcUtil won't let you run Ion correctly, so many other apps that use hooks mess with it. I would recommend trying another shell that is Ion-compatible such as MirageOS, CalcUtil, or (since you seem to already have it!) DoorsCS.

That looks like the ION for the 83 regular, and most likely wouldn't work on your 83+. Use Mirage Os, or DoorsCS, they are ION compatible.
