I am looking at the catalog of the nSpire, and the BASIC is very similar to the 68k calcs. I need to find a substring, but now there is no sub( command. Is this just on the nSpire, or the 89t too?

Well, I can't tell you now, but in two days, I could. [/pointless bragging]

To be truthful, the reason I made that post was so I could be bumped up to 100 posts. I'm an official member now!

Also, I promise not to post just for the sake of my postcount ever again [Super Speler]

ehh... sorry.

I don't claim to know enough about the NSpire (mainly because I don't have one), but for a 83x style sub(string , begin , length) on the 68k, mid(List or String , Start [, Count]) ought to work.

We ought to open up new subforums for the nSpire.

First, we need to have subforums for all the other calculators, too.

There's just not enough demand. Even this subforum is not that popular (existing mainly because of the confusion that arose from TI-89 topics that kept getting answered by TI-83 programmers)
