Okay, tons of progress since last time.
1) Mario's jumping is way better.
2) Question Blocks bounce when you hit them. Same for music blocks.
3) Enemies?! Granted, they can't hurt Mario, but they look good. Very Happy
4) Mario and enemies get deleted if they fall off (oh noes!).

Very impressive work, I especially like the attention to detail, your motion with your enemies is near flawless. And the bouncing of the music note blocks is a nice touch as well. Keep up the good work. Smile

That's looking really good. It looks like Mario bounces a bit differently on the music block now as well.

Personally the only thing I see is that the mario sprite seems a little disproportional other than that this is awesome. Which mario game is this soposed based on? That has always been my issue with mario ports, they make very good ports of the engine and then the sprites are off, just the feel of the game. What would be very cool is allow ing people to include their own sprites within the level set, or at least allow external sprite sets so people can make their levelsets even more realistic/custom.

If you look in one of the previous screenshots, you should be able to see all three types of Mario.

How are you handling the enemies? Via a structure matrix i'm assuming?

Looks amazing.

I don't want to over exaggerate, but this is like uber intense looking!!!!11!!! Very Happy:D

It really kills me on how you managed such speed with 4 way scrolling + other things.

perhaps he means mostly vertical levels? that would be a cool thing to see in a Mario game. although those didn't come around in the franchise until much later iirc.

Sure, vertical levels would be fine, I think (as long as they don't assume "wrapping around" horizontally).

Do you plan on adding the death bounce when he falls into a pit?

I think it would be cool to see if this mapper could be used to a Kirby port that hard part there would be all of the enemy's and the copying of attacks.
