After correlating Noob88's current Battlefield 2 account with an old but well-worn account here at United-TI, I pointed him to the relevant board rule and then asked him which of his two accounts he would prefer to keep, letting him know that they could be tied together. I am awaiting his response.

I'm still not completely convinced that Noob88 and MeBeatYou aren't different people who know each other (and perhaps, one is using another's old Battlefield 2 account?) Or if they are the same person, it is a very sly person who has built up a web of subterfuge including talking to himself minutes apart from different IP addresses.

Thanks for noting this. Let me know what you decide. If you need me to tie some accounts together, let me know. I have done that before Smile

Whoops, I see their colliding posts now. I need to refrain from any moderating until I'm well-rested... I suppose I'll get a response from noob88 clearing this up, at which point I'll present the source of my misunderstanding and then apologize. (If this were Phoenix Wright, I know I'd be getting reprimanded right about now – although, this is not a game, I realize!)

No need for apologies in here. We are just glad to have you doing the work for us. At least you have your eyes open for suspicious activity.

I did not even remember I had an old account here, which is why I made this new one... You may delete the other one if you so wish... I apologize for the confusion.
Is that your other account? If you're unsure, please read through the other member's posts to see if it is you. Also, we don't plan on deleting anything; both accounts would only be merged, with all posts from both falling under one name. We'll only go ahead with this if we have verification that they were written by you. Thanks. :)
